Usher Syndrome Inspires An Active Life
Rebecca Atkinson is a 27-year-old Londoner with a career in broadcasting who was diagnosed with Usher Syndrome ten years ago. Her article 'It might help if I didn't wear high heels' (The Guardian, March 29, 2004) is a positive and articulate account of her response to a dual sensory disability.
